I have currently been working on a couple of book scultures. I've found that they are much harder then i thought, haha. But it is lots of fun and you can create pretty much anything out of books.

Snow Sculpture Contest!!!

What else should my art students be doing on snow days?!!!  The City of Paducah has issued a snow sculpture competition.  See the attached flier for all of the rules and procedures.
Its easy though...
First- Make something out of snow
Second- Take a picture of your creation
Third- Email your pics in to
Last- Have fun!!!

OTHER:               The Snow Sculpture Contest allows families to get in the competitive spirit while enjoying snowy weather.  The snow sculpture must be made from real snow.  That is the only requirement.  Then, take a picture (include your name, the name of the sculpture you create, and your contact information) and send the picture to the Parks Services Department at 1400 HC Mathis Dr, Paducah, KY 42001 or email your picture with your information to  The deadline to submit the picture and contact information is March 31.  Prizes will be awarded to the 5 best sculptures.
