I've been meaning to make a collage for my Art 3 class about my current job at Rue21. I haven't collected enough material to fill up the space but I'm trying to scope out the place and find some cool stuff to put on it. Right now I have some of the fragrance boxes that we have and cut them up a little bit. I also borrowed some price stickers, but it's still not enough. I work today so hopefully I'll find something interesting to add to it.

Each week I plan to feature another artist.  So keep posted.

As for my art students, so far we have discussed altered books and pages from discarded books to create narrative works from.  This week end they created mood boards to decide what portfolio path to take.  There are two portfolio choices: 2-D or Drawing.  For the next five weeks, the students will be "playing" creatively with various media addressing several themes from each portfolio.  Photos coming soon!
